Using a VLF (very low frequency) receiver, the sounds of the Earth's ionosphere are heard and filtered through a Korg Duo Monotron and a Korg Delay Monotron.

These sounds were captured outside the SIU College of Art & Media on October 15th, 2022 from 8:18pm to 8:26pm.
