BIOGRAPHY
Jordan Faye Bardgett (she/they) is queer multimedia artist based in the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Area. Jordan recently received her MFA in Media Arts from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale (2025). She has taught photo and video courses as an adjunct studio arts instructor at the Art Academy of Cincinnati since the Fall of 2025.
Jordan utilizes photography, sound, glitch, and performance to explore various themes surrounding transgender identity and childhood memory. Her work often utilizes elements of data manipulation as well as the use of personal archival elements.
Jordan has had work showcased in numerous gallery spaces such as Praxis Gallery, The Sharp Museum, and Artspace 304 as well as academic research presented at venues such as the 2nd International Trans Studies Conference at Northwestern University and the Saint Louis Art Museum. Jordan has also had their video work showcased in film festivals internationally including Experiments in Cinema in Albuquerque, New Mexico and the Fringe Film Festival in London, UK.
Jordan is also a musician who plays noise, electronic, and folk music within and around the Cincinnati, OH area.
